Round 2 of MEASQ Vic was hosted by Autobarn Narre Warren. A big thank you to Craig and all the guy's and gal's for the great venue and the awesome demo cars :)

Another lovely sunny day, though a smaller turnout than Round 1 saw most of the regulars out doing battle again along with a new comer to intermediate street, welcome Phillip.
Lots of spectators were wandering through and checking out all the cars on display.
All in all a great day of audio enjoyment!

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

Good day over all.

Great to see every one - its the first time in nearly 5 months I've seen most of you guy!

Yeah good day, bit warm - but that happens.
Big thanks to Craig and the Autobarn Narre Warren guys. Really great hosts!
Would have been nice to see a few more competitors but in saying that a small turn out isnt such a bad thing - allows more socialising time for us judges! :P

Cheers,
Kirk

Big thanks go out to Craig & the boys at Autobarn Narre Warren for holding the event and organising a few demo cars down..

Thanks to Marc (for organising the event), Ness (for the score count) & the judges for the feedback and comments...
also thanks to the competitors who showed up and entered (altho on time @10am would be nice)...

Was a good day overall.. altho the weather was fantastic..
And was good catching up with the regular faces once again.. and socialising (& joking around) as we do!
Altho the numbers were a little disappointing... especially for me as i was the only car in my class... :(

Congrats to the winners & hope you all enjoy(ed) the Jager or wine.. which i must add, the wine goes down exceptionally well.. ;)
I must also give props out to Brian whe entered the "nemesis" (ADZ.1) for getting 2nd place.. I had given brian a hand in the week prior getting the kick panels fixed up so he could remount the tweeters in there as thats where they worked best.. with little knowledge of how to tune the 310e & H700 combo (and working off settings adam had previously written down), he did a great job getting the car sounding as good as it did and receiving good feedback.. with little tuning and tweaking, i reckon this car will be knocking on the door of 1st place at the next event.. ;)

I must say now, that the cruiser as we all knew it could be retiring as of last night... depending on how my plans go in the next couple of weeks, i'll be updating to the VT (series 2) Senator.. It'll get a show quality install, but wont be a show class car... might step up the plate to Expert Street..
