Hi guys.

Well, after long last, I am very pleased to announce...

Attached File  final_flyer.jpg   492.92K   27 downloads

We are asking all those involved with MEA to help get involved, get organised and get enthusiastic about this event. If there's any chance you can help publicise it, or, better still, show up and compete, we would love to hear from you.

Thanks once again,

the MEACT team

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

Good work Matt, and good to see it all coming together :)

Now it just needs the support of the NSW and ACT members to continue the momentum.

For SPL St A, B, C, OPEN
And
SQ Novice, Intermediate and Expert street. Each SQ class will depend on getting at least 3 competitors in each. Trophies for 1st and 2nd place in both SQ and SPL.

:)

still wanting an approximate confirmation on NSW competitors coming for the SQ events too.

rick, any luck with Marty? Hakki, do you know anywhere we can use for a judges' training?

thanks guys!!!

I'll probably have nothing to compete with, but I'll see what happens - I just might pop down to show support.

After all, the MX-5 could use a nice long drive.

I'll see what happens!

Are judges needed for the day, or is that side of things sorted out already?

P.s. Anyone else from NSW considering going by? If so might be able to arrange a 'cruise down' with the NSW boys!

Judges; if all goes according to plan, we'll be covered. However, we'd be happier with some extras.

If you guys need a judge let me know.

Being July 13th is plenty of notice, so I can arrange to have the day off and confirm my presence if i'm really needed.

The comp will be right in the middle of my intra-session break, so uni isn't a problem.

I really would like to come along, as i've been away from car audio for a long time now (or at least it feels like a long time). Wagga 2007 seemes like a decade ago!

As some of you are already aware, there is a judge's training day planned for sunday 29th June. Anyone interested should contact me :)

that includes you, muzzy, if you're keen.

AFAIK, we should be right for judges, but having someone there on the day to hang out with and give us a hand would be awsome!

peace

Where will the training night be held?

I'd really like to come but it wouldn't be easy to make it. Taking one day off isn't so bad, but taking two Sundays off in three weeks may not be as easy!

It's an afternoon in Sydney (ASLAN Acoustics). Should be easy for you. As mentioned, see Matt for more details.
