What about the kid who had to sacrafice his ears to push on the car to keep all that pressure inside? lolz. I can't believe you actually wanted me to do that. Was a good day nonetheless, pitty it was so cold. And data_mine, just because your car sounds good, doesn't mean it is good :P
I'd have to say it's better than my pulsar though :(

Hopefully with some tlc and elbow grease I'll have a car that is able to have some sort of audiable music to compete with

Congrats to the winners and placers, thanks to my boys for driving down, Chris (prelude) get yourself a fire extinguisher mate and get your installer to check those battery terminals because your car sounded awesome.
Well done to Rick for keeping up the standards as always.

they'll be up tonight mate...

Won't they Data_mine

Oh, and absolutely MASSIVE thanks to Hakki and sydmonster for coming all the way from Sydaneh and judging all those cars on the day. Fantastic effort, and the whole MEACT crew were very appreciative. Also, James Prelude, your car sounded mint - pity about a couple of lost points, keep it up and we'll see you at the next one.

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

+1 on a great turn out. There's certainly a healthy crowd in the ACT! Can't wait for the next one. Really awesome work by mane of the lads who were putting finishing touches on their rides right down to the last minute! Elite, Hakki & all the sponsors.
Thank you to Matt for getting it kicked off, data-mine for his work (pimpin aint easy...) and just to all the competitors who took part. If we can keep the burnouts to summernats twats that would be great! ha!

ps. my trip to Fyshwick never happened, and it was too cold! :P

Great to hear it turned out a good day - and congrats to rick for yet another great finish. That car has always sounded briilliant so in a way i'm not surprised!

Just did my uni registration for next semester - things didn't really work out how I was hoping, with a couple of conflicts. The result is that it's looking (at this stage) like I'll be only on two days / week. If I can get an extra day on during the week, you just might see me at a couple of comps! No promises though, as I still need to see how things work out.

Good work guys :)
