i want to come and say 'hi' and have a look-see. won't be competing though.

but petrol for return-trip to nazza wazza could be too nasty. might bring the 2L instead of the V6.

But then again I didn't buy a V8 cos I was worried about fuel economy or the environment....

you pay how much for a car, and then complain about petrol prices... hahahaha

I'd like to see the more recently acquired car, loved the build pics.

Do spectators have to pay $35 or is it free to come have a look?

yeah, i'll see whether i'm feeling square or round on the day. :P

i'm generally pretty square.

 i've replaced all the suspect parts already...i think. :silly:

strangely enough, on the road it feels older than 15yo! bit rattly, the interior looks old skool, and there's lots of roadnoise! bloody alfa's.

to think that the red 156 i had was only 6~7 years newer, but felt lightyears ahead in refinement.

You spend how much doing up the old Alfa and you're talking about the cost of fuel!! Surely it's less than half a bottle of all the treatments you are using for the car - probably less than shipping parts from the UK too!

I might come down and have a look before watching Indy!

 ok, it's the time and fuel. ;) it'd be a 'whole day' to drop by; probably with 2 hours each way.

weekends off are uncommon for me, so i need to justify everything. :P

:)
