The 2008 MEASQ National Event is the social highlight of the year for MEA members from around the country. Entry is open for all competitors, and gives a chance for members from each state to thrash it out against other competitors they often don't have the chance to.

The details for this event are as follows:

Location: Futsal Park, Commonwealth Avenue. Canberra.

Date: November 22nd, 2008.

Time: Competitor Arrival & Setup / Registration - Strictly 9:00am - 9:30am No Late Entry Accepted

240V Power: 240V will not be available at this location. If you need it, you may need to look into hiring a small generator.

Accomodation: A discounted Group Booking has been arranged with Canberra Lakes Carotel. A range of accomodation facilities are available, all those seeking accomodation need to contact Carotel directly. Please tell them you are with the MEA booking when speaking with them.

Rule Enforcement: During the National, rules for the 2008 season will be heavily enforced. This includes such criteria as wiring safety (including adequate protection of battery terminals), presence of fire extinguishers etc. Any car not complying with any rule will NOT be given a second chance.

Entry for the National Finals event is strictly on a pre-entry basis with no exceptions.

Click here to download Event Entry Form.

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

oh Marc, the Ainslee award wouldnt be Inaugural anymore would it? (thought Inaugural was the first time its given?)

i should be there, providing i can find someone to take my arse up there, and somewhere cheep to stay haha (hey matt.. still got floor space :D )
QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
