I always hear of Eton and Phass in the same sentences.
Is this just because they are distributed together or are they just different product lines made from the same factory?

Where could I hear some in vic (preferably installed in a vehicle)

Eton are from Germany i believe and Phass from japan. Maybe because they distributed together and both are high end brand.

I'm currently installing a full DLS Ultimate Iridium setup in my MR2. Very nice speakers, and the amps are stunning, but i'm current tossing up between a pair of Adire Brahma 10's or DLS Ultimate Iridium 10's for the sub :)

The packaging on the DLS's is pretty plain and the finishing might not be top end (i mean, push on terminals, wtf, how hard is it to mount compression fittings guys?) but the price is exceedingly competitive for a high end set and the sound quality is stunning... admittedly, i only had to fork out dealer cost, but still i'd doubt you'll find anything better for the money... the doped silk dome 3" mids are incredible and they've done some very fancy trickery with the midbasses by building a neodymium magnet INSIDE the 3" voice coil...

lol, i cracked up first time i read they had a 3" voice coil, i was like 'OMGWTFBBQ arent those only on subs?!?!?'

Oh, and for those looking for an amp in the $1500-2000 category : BUY THE DLS A3 TWIN MONO! It is, quite simply, the most astonishingly well built and listenable car amplifier it has ever been my priveledge to own or even listen to :D :D :D And one thing i really loved is they tell you where EVERY bit used in the amp comes from, and its brandname and specification... in this age where so much snake oil gets bandied around, tis refreshing to see that level of transparency :)

Excuse the piss-poor quality of the pics, i'm no photographer :)

3 way splits scare the hell out of me.

Having heard how bloody good ultim8dtm5's rainbow 3 ways are, and then listening to mr bob's phass, I've been left salivating ever since.

Only problem is building, or getting built, custom pods!
