I think its ugly, but respect!!!
If you buy a new GM Holden and drive it into a wall, do you go back to Holden for a WARRANTY ? So why do they try it with a burnt woofer ?

Some say if a car/install was a turd, if you mould it and shape it into something great. They say its still a turd. I must be a turd polisher then!!!

I don't know who frequents SMD here.
But there is a europian bloke on there with his whole doors done and fiberglass moulds over the actual windows too. That is awesome.

I'll find a link when I have a looksie...

No disrespect intended to the owner of the car, but I can't see how that could possibly sound good.

You have two large woofers (appears to be maybe 9" or 10"-possibly Morel Supremo?) seemingly firing into the doors, where I assume they would be sharing the 'volume' of the door while also having the cones of the drivers pushing against each other which doesn't sound like it would help performance.

Then, you have two small (probably 3" or 4" - looks like maybe tang band but can't tell) midrange drivers firing straight at the driver (and completely away from the passenger), plus a third midrange of the same type pointing in a completely opposite direction (and nicely firing directly into the side of the ribbon) which (when all combined) would most likely result in a midrange image about as wise as my arse (and I have a very big arse), and about as stable as a russian neuclear submarine.

Then you have a pair of gigantic ribbons also firing almost directly at the driver (and away from the passenger) which seem to also (convieniently) block any possible hint of driver vision that may have been left which increases the risk of an accident...and if that accident occurs passenger safety is made all the more impressive by the possibility of 6 speakers potentially being hauled at your head.

Then, to top it all off it's in an old beemer with non-colour-coded bumpers and door handles, a bonnet trimmed in leather (YUCK!) and wheels with spikes on them.

On the positive side the amps are sexy, the source/processoris sweet, and the gear stick looks hot.
