I was stoked at the result I got with the Audi - Considering it was its first comp, I reckon its done damn well, and not too much to do to get up there with Brian x 2 and Adam :P Andrew, maybe if you DONT get drunk the night before the comp your ears wont be hungover? LOL :P

Haha...what would a comp be without me being hungover???

As for your car Timmy, I was surprised how awesome it sounded (no offence) considering the limited prep time you have had. Well done! :)

Thanks man :) There was always something weird about the BMW... And the fact its the same gear (and same me) in a different car kinda shows it was more car related than anything.... :)

OK... seeing no-one has done it yet, i'd better write up that essay..

where do i start... was damn foggy... so thick you could cut it with a knife... but that didnt dampen the mood, or the spirit as us committee members rocked up ~8am for the initial setup.. having the trailer and everything organised (mostly) before hand made things so much easier and quicker.. we has the marque & PA system set up in short time.. but where's the coffee!!

Thanks are required, and go out to..... *drum rolls*

- Skateworld moorabbin for being a great host once again..
- Polk Audio for sponsoring the event and providing some nice trophies
- Marc & the MEAVIC Committee for organising the event (pats on backs all round)
- Ness & Tess for doing the final tally up of scores
- The judgges for battling the cold (and freezing ears) with the judging of the cars
- Steve from stinger and the Autobarn Narre Warren guys for running the SPL comp & bringing down the option Audio spl demo car
- The members & supporters who came and made the event what it was..
- Lastly, NSAYNE.tv for coming out and doing lots of filming, interviews and all that.. be good to see upcoming episodes.

What else is there...

oh yeah.. congrats to all place getters.. shaping up to be a competitive season now.. and congrats to Brian (nemesis5000) for coming first.. all that learning, fiddling and tuning is finally paying off.. well done..

to me.. it was a great day.. battling the thick fog to start with, and having fun throughout the day socialising, taking pics and enjoying the atmosphere.. The yaris was "debut'd" at this round, and did suprisingly well considering what's in there and the way its set up.. Tess wanted to see what the "disco lemon" could do in the SPL stakes so was thrown in the "lane" and burped.. peak was around 56 - 58Hz... and topped at 136.8.. after demo'ing with clint a little later, think there was a little more in there.. but thats ok, new ported spl box will be built soon.. chasing 140's maybe.

all in all.. great day.. long, but good.. looking forward to the next comp in July @ Performance Car Audio in bayswater.. the senator will be finished for that one.. :)
