I'm starting a seperate discussion thread for the topic of how far you would be prepared to travel for a national event at the end of each season?

This in no way will change the outcome of the plans for 2009 National Finals, but more of an indication to see which states are prepared to travel.

I'll chip in my bit, that I would be prepared to travel as far as 10 hours both an an organiser, and competitor.

I assume you mean 10 hours each way?

sounds reasonable.

one days travel, without having to stop overnight.

I'd consider Perth to east coast as long as its a sealed road.

to compete i'd travel 8-9hrs each way, probably up to 12-14hrs if i could get a co-driver
if i wasnt competing, i'd consider nearly anywhere in Oz by plane (would just come down to $ and time/work)
