Overall it was a great day, the weather held off, 31 competitors (our best yet), good showing from our sponsors and industry. Big thanks to Adam, and the other guys at BDL Car Stereo for putting on a good showing.

Thanks to all of the organisers and sponsors, as well as (of course) all the competitors.

What a turnout! I wasn't expecting even half the number of cars that showed up - just goes to show how far the competitions have moved forward since the last event I came along to.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Novice competitors, as the class was never run in the previous events I had been to - I have to say though I was pleasantly surprised. A couple of the cars actually sounded pretty nice, and have quite a bit of potential.

Sorry if I came across a little quiet or unapproachable on the day - i tried to be as 'out there' as I had the energy for, but in all honesty I was just straight out exhausted - I hope to get a little more rest for next time!

I spent the half my pay and the last three days trying to get the car ready for competition, so given all I put into it, it was a bummer that I wasn't able to get it done - glad I was still able to contribute in some way though.

Frank also just discovered today that his head unit is faulty, hence why he had speakers and subs mysteriously dissapearing. I'm helping him source a replacement unit, which combined with a fire extinguisher and a little more tuning time should improve his score quite a lot. I know the system has a lot of potential, and the sub was sounded brilliang sat morning, so it's a pity he was having issues on the day.

Thanks for a good day everyone who put effort in, esp the judges, organisers and the shop crew from BDL. Even the weather wasn't too harsh to us.

Special Note: Well done Matt for the significant improvement in the old beast.
