Another great turnout for MEASQ.

A big thank you to Con & JB HiFi for hosting this event and Sponsors Hybrid Audio Technologies and the local Lyons Club for putting on the BBQ for us!

Was great to see another big field of competitors with perhaps a record number of 8 competitors in show class, an amazing number that we haven't seen for a long time!
Great to see so many cars open and on display to the public too!

An early morning start saw us section off an area of the JB HiFi car park and set up the marquie & PA system.
The weather was sunny with some cloud and some blustering wind gusts.
We tied down the marquie as much as we could but by mid afternoon the wind had picked up so much that we ended up taking it down before the wind did it for us.

The day went really well with the judges getting through the large field of competitors very efficiantly which saw us end the day around 4:30pm

Also a big thank you to everyone that helped out and came along on the day, the competitors, the judges, the behind
the scenes helpers ... without all you guys we wouldn't have the great events that we do.

as above, great day. it was nice for me to be back competing after missing the past 3 Rounds. so it was an important outing in preparation for Finals to see where my system stands. 'thank you' to the judges and organisers per usual (and hosts, JB HiFi, and Hybrid Audio); i received some very useful feedback plus encouragement. i was really happy with my placing and taking out Judges Choice this time around.

looking at the scores, Expert is mighty close. i have to squeeze out some more points from the stereo!

congrats to all competitors and particularly winners/place-getters. i listened to some fantastic systems, including the 'Team Opus' crew. as usual, i was very impressed by the cars featuring these audiophile speakers.

as always, nice to catch up with everyone. i look forward to Rd7, which at this stage i can be there! :cool

Great day. Pity I had to leave early but I had ppl coming over.

Thanks for the feedback, judges. Now I know what to work on with the new setup.
Can I get my scorecard ?

As this was my first event, I was a little apprehensive at first, not knowing anyone...
I was made welcome by a few Members and got a few demo's in some other cars!
I was surprised at how well my car did and will certainly be competing in the Intermediate Class, next round!

p.s. As some constructive criticism:
The DB Drag event would likely have got more competitors if it wasn't so expensive!

Sorry Damo, not aimed at you. Infact why is it that your the only one that seems to post pics, are they taking you for granted down there?? :D
