Which 4" sub are you referring to? Either way, you're not going to put anything that even resembles a sub in the pillar, subs need airspace to produce bass. Airspace you do not have in the pillars.

Also, a 6.5" isnt a midbass. It doesnt have enough volumetric displacement to produce decent midbass at audible levels. Two of them, yes, but one, nope. And angling a midbass, especially in a 3-way, is such a bad idea. You have a baffle, but are introducing artifacts that screw the midbass sound up really badly that your not taking advantage of the baffle. Also, angling will do nothing at those frequencies but increase the speakers harmonic distortion levels to your ears. In terms of 'image', angling a midbass is like rotating the sun so you get more light.
Unfortunately for the OP, you're in the wrong section for these sorts of questions. In the Beginners section, you'll get useful assistance. In here, you'll get confused, (feel like) knocked down and unfortunately it may stem your passion somewhat. Everyone here means well, and can provide wonderful assistance, but the competence levels are high enough where you need to understand quite a bit before you can comprehend the next steps.

Its all about the music. Always has been, always will be. Im here for the music.
