MEASQ 2009 National Finals
November 28th - Lakes Entrance

The 2009 MEASQ National Event is the social highlight of the year for MEA members from around the country. Entry is open for all competitors who have competed in at least one event in the 2009 season. The Nationals gives the chance for members from each state to thrash it out against other competitors they often don't have the chance to find the best of the best and take home the prestigious National Champion title.

Time: Competitor Arrival & Setup / Registration - Strictly 8:00am - 8:30am [No Excuses!]
Entry Fees: All competitors - all classes - $90.00 [Please Note: QLD Competitors receive discounted entry fee of $50.00]

Judging Software: Combination of Chesky Records - 10 Best, Alpine - First Encounter, Sheffield Labs - My Disc.
240V Power: 240V will not be available at this location. If you need it, you may need to look into hiring a small generator.
Accomodation: A discounted Group Booking has been arranged with Lakes Central Hotel / Motel. A range of accomodation facilities are available, and Daniel (broadz) is looking after the organisation of this. Please note, we have booked the entire hotel out for that weekend, so you will not be able to contact the hotel directly.

Presentation: Presentation will take place later in the evening, at this stage estimated ~ 6:30pm at the Central Hotel Function Room.
Following presentations, we will head to dinner at a location still being organised. Presentations will consist of the National Finals trophies, State Series Leaderboard Presentations, and the Ainslee Duff Memorial Award.
In order to make a booking for Dinner at a local Restaurant, could you please let us know via this thread if you intend on joining us, and number of people.
Rule Enforcement: During the National, rules for the 2009 season will be heavily enforced. This includes such criteria as wiring safety (including adequate protection of battery terminals), presence of fire extinguishers etc. Any car not complying with any rule will NOT be given a second chance.
Entry for the National Finals event is strictly on a pre-entry basis with no exceptions.
