The final round of MEASQ has been run and won and championships decided!!

What an end to the year with our biggest turnout yet … record numbers of competitors for ALL classes!

First of all a huge thank you must go to Craig and his team at Autobarn Narre Warren for hosting the event and organising some great cars & hot rods on display … no to mention the BBQ … two coffee vans and an ice cream van!!!!

Also a huge thanks to all involved with MEASQ, judges, helpers, scorers and of course competitors!
A special thanks to the judges who did a fantastic job with record numbers of competitors to get through in a timely fashion.

Shame the weather was not kind to us this time as it did keep a lot of the cars closed up and people huddling for shelter.


In a strange twist even though we had record numbers in all classes we had no Novice entrants this round.

Well i enjoyed once again thanks to everyone once again .

was great to catch up with everyone again. but the rain really did spoil the evening somewhat *Go Cats*. mostly cos nearly all the cars were 'closed' rather than opened up for showing, and people weren't mingling amongst it all as much as they would have liked (or listening to each other's systems).

having said that, it was obviously a huge turn-out, and that was fantastic. a lot of people managed to arrive pretty early, and were glad to have found a car park.

but it was well run, so congrats and thanks to Autobarn Nazza Wazza, and the MEASQ Team for another top event. there was food and drinks/coffee, and if you didn't mind getting wet, lots of cars to see.

i ended up leaving early-ish cos it's a long way from home, and i'd had a long day out and about.

i'm glad the Judges didn't rate my system too highly (though i've no idea on my placing yet), cos that concurs with my thoughts! i need more time in the tuning-chair. see you at Finals - i'll try my best to pull something special out of the bag.

Thanks for the night guys it was really good. rain just made it a bit more fun.

Cant wait for next season see if i can make my car maybe slightly competitive.

Well once again a great event and an even greater turn out, other than the rain putting a dampner on things for a little while I think all including myself had a great night.

A big thanks to those that put the time and effort into making these events what thay are and possiable for us all to attend.
