congrats everyone. there was certainly plenty of excellent sounding stereos this season; it just keeps getting better each year.

and a lot of dedication from those that attended every round, which in itself deserves applause.

MEASQ is such a great competition. it's friendly, relaxed, rewarding and encouraging, as well as a great social event.

many thanks too, to the judges and organisers and all those people behind the scenes. the preparation, setting-up, props/gear, and commitment of their time.

and thank you to all the hosts who have held an MEASQ round.

well done guys. How exactly did ~spyne~ pinch this one? I thought all his niceness got frittered away last season?

Top work everyone!!

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

Congratulations to all the winners and runners up

Adhika & Simon

Adam & Bernard

Joe & Daniel

Well done guys ... great effort! :good:

It's been a hell of a year for MEASQ in Victoria ...

Record number or competitors and probably rounds too ... first time I've seen 7 rounds to a season!

A big thank you to all involved .. all the people behind the scenes helping out and organising ... All the host venues for their support of MEASQ and all the competitors of course.

A special thanks to Marc for his leadership, drive and enthusiasm!

On a personal note I'm very happy with my result for the year ending up equal third with Jason in Expert Class.
Considering the car has remained unchanged since 2007 apart from an EQ tweak at the final round it has held itself up pretty well :)

Perhaps I'll do another EQ tweak for the Nationals :P
