Item: VS Series 2 Holden Calais 304.
Location: Melbourne
Item Condition: Used!
Reason for selling: Sat in garage for 18+ months since I moved here. Rego lapsed from interstate. Clearly I don't need it.
Price:SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash
Extra Info: The most reliable car I've ever owned. VT calipers on front. Cat back exhaust. Brands new wheels - 18" and Sumitomo tyres. No rego. No rwc. (short of replacing the A/C belt - I don't see any reason why it should have any problem getting rego). Still gets started regularly. It doesn't leak like a sieve. I simply don't have the time to get a rwc and really don't want to pay rego on a car I never drive. It runs and goes very well. It sounds awesome. Brilliant highway car. Towbar. 152k on clock. Bought it 4-5? years ago with 135k?. Only used as a daily for about a year. Then became a weekender till I moved here. Have had a work car for years now. Unmodified engine.
The bad things - Broken glove box (plastic snapped) - (still have it - Calais glove boxes aren't the easiest thing to come across - so I kept mine for the 'woodgrain' trim). Few nicks on leather interior - Usual wear expected on things like gear shift. Roof lining saging a bit. For its age it is in quite good condition with the usual signs of a bit of wear and tear. Some new bushes, sway bar link etc through front so will need a wheel alignment.

Update May - Still haven't had time to even think about a rwc/rego and won't for the forseeable future. Am open to negotiation - I need to sell it.. Its not getting the love it deserves.

I just don't have the time to arrange for it at the moment. To give you an idea I was out the door by 6:30 this morning and didn't leave work till 6 this evening.
Will have some time up my sleeve late december - And if I haven't sold it by then, I'll probably arrange for it then. Till then however, it just isn't an option for me.
I'm happy for anyone to have a sticky beak at it. And for whats its worth - having an v8 is fun.

To be honest, it has taken 6 months of convincing myself to put an add up. I haven't done carsales yet, but probably will over the weekend.

Nice shot of Andy's underwear there!

I been out in this, so nice! and effortless V8 power!
QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
