Wondering if anyone's had any experience with this driver and what box they put one in. I'm thinking 1cu sealed in a compact car, but would ported be worth even looking at? I'd like it to play low but am also concerned with the output level as the car is a small convertible 4wd and sub will be sitting right at the back next to the tailgate. Power is a measly 300 watts (bridged rear channels of a 4x100wrms jaycar amp - don't hate me it's not my car or my amp lol).

Wanky uninstalled gear that I need to install in my 200sx this year:

Source: Alpine 9887

Front: 2 x SB Acoustics SB17 per door

Front Amplifier: Digital Designs S4a

Subs: 2 x Hybrid Digital Designs/PSi 99F series

Sub Amp: Digital Designs M2a

i would port it, has a rather high EBP, would probably do better ported than sealed going by that.

not sure how they got their minimums....WinISD suggests ~17L @ 34Hz would be ok
to be honest, it isnt the nicest sub to plot. but then we all know plotting programs like WinISD are only there as a guide - they can't tell you HOW the sub will sound in a car
