Ok.
I sold my IVAW502e and i had it hooked to my H701 worked great.
Now i have put in my old CDA9831 and hooked it up to the H701 and i have sound.

But now the bit i cant work out i can not work out how to access the h701 processor.
I had a tune in it stored under setting 1 from when it was hooked to the W502e but dont know what is playing right now if its setting 1 or something esle.

So my question,
Will this work has anyone done it before and if so
How do i enter the processor setting and adjust them.

Thanks Warren.

I believe that you need a c701 rux controller to control the processor.

Youll need a RUX-C701 to be able to control the H701. Good luck finding since theyre now discontinued! :(

Try eBay.

There is a lovely chap by the name of Jeff Dickinson at Alpine mate, give him a call. I'm sure Adam will let you :)

do you have the remote control for your 9831? you can utilise the A.PROC button to access stored settings. so if your PXA has a preset you want to use, you should be able to access it this way. but you can't change the settings.

refer to the owner's manual for the 9831.

9861 can access the 701 via menus, all settings. PITA to use for a full tune, but ok for recalls and minor adjustments.

I have a touch screen to hook up to the 9861 - will see if that gives me '502-type' adjustments..
