The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.

What a great weekend, almost everything went 100% to plan.

Cheap accomodation for all
Great weather
Great location
Motel to ourselves without a single complaint from the owners
Great BBQ (thanks Riley & Danny)
Nice cool swimming pool/spa
Awesome effort to those who travelled long distance (especially Riley's 18+ hr drive)
Was good to meet a few new people (interstaters)
Good to hear some bloody good systems.

Congrats to all the winners/runner ups! you have obviously worked hard throughout the year to get where you are and the hard work has paid off.

Finally I got time to post this up after been busy since got back on Saturday night.
Depart from Lake Entrance at 10 and arrived Melb at 1.30am with very heavy rain...what a day trip..

Oh well, very surprise achievement as I was the winner in intermediate.
Thanks to all the judges; Simon & Chris and to all the people who managed this event (Marc, Broadz, Alan, Matt...) And good to know others from interstate as well who drove all the long way to Lake Entrance...
Congratulation to all the winners too in Expert, Simon & RIchard you guys are well deserved and also to Adam as well...
Will look forward for next year event...
