Special congrats to Pulse-R for taking out Expert - a good bloke, and much deserved no doubt. Likewise, to Shiny, Sierra and MattVIP who were also did quite well.
Looking forward to MEASQ NSW in 2010!

it was great to catch up with everyone again, and meet the Interstate people. i acknowledge the big efforts from those that travelled thousands of kilometres, especially Riley. and not a bad BBQ cooked by said-Riley on Saturday night.
major thanks to all the organisers and judges. in particular Marc, fury, MattVIP, Blanky, and particularly broadz. broadz helped pull off a fantastic weekend by arranging top accommodation, competition location, meals, and 'special consideration' for my beloved car! cheers man, for use of your garage; i REALLY appreciated it.
also a special thanks to TEG, for loving the sound of my exhaust so much.
and congrats to the trophy-winners of the VIC season. in particular OzBliss who dominated the whole season in Expert.
Likewise, to Shiny, Sierra and MattVIP who were also did quite well.
i was absolutely stoked to take out Runners Up in Expert and Show Classes.
my efforts were rewarded beyond expectation. managing to score so highly in Show based purely on the merit of the car alone (lack of time to create a display/board/etc) delighted me to no end. and the 'rethink' about how my system was tuned steered me in a new direction, which paid off.
congrats to all competitors. it was said plenty of times: there were no bad systems; they were all great, and picking the best ones was difficult. i really enjoyed every system i had the opportunity to listen to.
the whole weekend was full of laughs, good chats, plenty of smokes and beers, and a memorable and successful event.

a big thanks to all of the people who made this happen, Marc, Broadz, the judging team, also a big thanks to Matty for his hospitality on the way down and also tonight on my way back
also cant thank everyone enough for being a great bunch to spend a weekend with.....in all honesty its probably 90% of the reason i come to the National Event year after year and drive mile after mile. It says alot when i can meet people once a year and some for the very first time and have a great time sinking a few cold beverages and talking about all manner of things and occasionally some car audio too.
for those of you that are privileged enough to have me on facebook you will be able to see the picture of the inside of my rear tyre which is now down to the steel belts. Matt and I drove though torrential rain on the way back and also a section of road that was covered in ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
congrats to all the winners and everyone involved on such a fantastic event and i hope to see you all up in sunny Brisbane next year

Unfortunately I couldnt head up till saturday and because I was haulin' fudds ass up there he had to wait till saturday too.
After a stop at Yarragon Ale House to check it out (bought a Trappist Tripel and an Oktoberfest as well as a couple of swills which we drank on the benches out the front) got up to Lakes about 3:30 - 4ish the comp had finished but meh thats life I really wanted to get up there just for the social aspect - which to be honest is 99.9% of the reason I'm a member of these forums and why I head to as many social activities as possible.
It was good to put some names to faces with some of the guys that I hadn't met (syd - WTF dude I thought you were heaps older?)
Catching up with blokes I hadnt seen in ages is always a good time!
Big ups to Broadz for scoping everything out.
Riley, dude machine! even if you do drink pineapple juice and call it beer we wont hold it against ya! You've put in the hard yards driving all that way solo! Hope ya have a safe trip back to the land of bananas.
Blanket - thanks for all the beers I was drinking even if you didnt know it.
Fudd thank for giving me someone to talk crap to on the way there and back - makes the drive less tedious.
Danny I hope you noggin isnt too sore still
Every one who attended - thanks for being a top bunch to hang out with. Its always a blast catching up with everyone and its always a bit of fun to get away talk crap with mates talk a bit of car audio and mostly hang crap on one another!
