Simon is quite right; we can order individual drivers for both DynAudio and Focal. On that note; the Utopia Be Kit 7 is here set up incar for people to audition if they wish.

Last time I spoke to Bill Leighton he said that you can order individual drivers, and the 3W2 midrange was $290 each. He also said that you should be able to purchase them through any Focal dealer, although I'm sure you'll get looked after well dealing with the MEA sponsors.

Thats a good question. I havent done much research on the Sinfoni, I'll have a look around on the weekend to see what I can turn up. Whats the price tag?

i haven't found much in the way of reviews (in English) or opinions (incl on DIYMA). plenty of marketing hype on the Sinfoni website (though specs are limited).

price? doesn't matter now, does it? i don't actually know the retail price; SStealth says the set (drivers only; no xovers) retail for over $2K. they have two series, and these are the better ones; the S25T (tweeter), S100M (mid), and S650W (woofer). if they're as good as their 'better' amplifiers, they should be good. speculation, and my impression, alone suggests they should be excellent. i'm expecting them to be better than say Dyn Esotec or Morel Elate, so let's hope so. as good as Dyn Esotar2 or Morel Supremo..?
