Just thought some of the SQ guys might like to know of a great new speaker thats just been released by ground zero that looks and sounds the good all over,





It is an extreme high quality 8″ Made in Europe Fullrange speaker with heavy Neodym magnet.
Its Dual cone and Aluminium dustcap allow a frequency range up to 15.000Hz.

On a 2" coil? Unless someone has defied the laws of physics, that doesnt stack up as being that impressive :rolleyes: You'll smoke a 2" coil with a mere 3-400 Watts, easy. Regardless of cooling efficiency of the motor.

Its sensitivity is off too. 98dB is at 4ohms, 1W@1M. Works out to around ~90-92dB @2.83V

And to me, the Fs is to high, you wont be getting any midbass out of that one.

Plus I thought the Beyma buildhouse was in China?
