Ported box tuned high Witt sub playing under unloading frequency?
I would've said similar using a small enclosure to drive the resonant freq's up and then using an ELF controller to use the sub under resonant freq's. We better not mention this principle to Rare, he'll try to tell us it can't work.

-3d point at about 88ishHz and then ironing-board flat resp to zip...
Horn?? (you know, the type we "can't" fit in the car

)
Possibly, but most of the Horn's i've seen drop off like a cliff at there low end normally 30-40hz, but maybe with cabin gain you could create one to get down to zip maybe???

Car audio is all about compromise. There's no single best way to do anything. Optimization in the face of several variables ... often conflicting ... means compromise. The educated are better positioned to sort through the compromises than the opinionated. Werewolf/Lycan 28-11-2006
