Vehicle = Mid size SUV
HU = Alpine W505
Proc = Alpine H701
Tweeter = Morel Supremo Picollo-Apillar (200w rms / 1000w max) at 6ohms
Midbass = Morel Supremo SW6 (140w rms / 1000w max)
Subs = JL 12W7
Amp (Subs) = JL HD750/1
Amp (Tweeter/Midbass) = ???

Amps in storage:
I have 2x old amps 1) Audison VRX4.300.2 (4 x 110w) and 2) Audison VRX2.250 (2 x 160w).

Questions:
a) Will the VRX4.300.2 be good enough such that:

Tweeters (Picollo) + Midbass (SW6) = Audison VRX4.300.2 (4 x 110w)

b) Or would it be noticeably much much better if I use the 2nd amp such that my system will be:

Tweeters (Picollo) = Audison VRX2.250 (2 x 160w)
Midbass (SW6) = Audison VRX4.300.2 Bridged (2 x 350w)

c) Won't bridging the VRX4.300.2, even if still at 4ohms, affect the SQ of the amplifier?

---------------------------
Perhaps most of you would suggest using BOTH amps since I already own them as well as it will give me a big headroom but the thing that's hindering me from plainly doing so is that if I do decide to use both amps, I will be doing MAJOR work on the left panel of my rear cabin due to space constraints (which will be very costly). If I use the VRX 4.300.2 only, the space is more than adequate. So I guess the major question boils down to: Would using both amps give me that much better SQ such that it justifies spending big bucks for the renovation needed to fit the 2nd amp.

Thanks

if the mods required are as big as ur suggesting, i would think the small gain in dynamics from the extra power (of running the 2ch on tweets and 4ch bridged on mids) wouldnt be justified.
the 4ch by itself should be fine. the vrx are beautiful amps, and you could always sell the 2ch to make a bit of coin

it'll be a compromise for you, from what you describe.

i would expect the extra headroom will improve midbass performance from the SW6. the tweeters are unlikely to audibly benefit.

the VRx amp have hefty power supplies built into them - they are 1ohm stable per channel. as such, bridging the 4.300 should/will not affect SQ discernably (operating at 2ohm per channel); distortion should remain imperceptibly low. so that wouldn't worry me.

however, using only the 4.300 will still be perfectly adequate. i have run similar midwoofers (Dynaudio MW160) from a VRx2.150.1, which offers similar power (2x110WRMS), and that was most adequate. and i'm using the same amp in a new build to run a different 6.5" midwoofer (Sinfoni S165W), and expect similarly excellent results.

unless you're planning to run it extremely loudly, i think the VRx4.300.2 alone would be great.

more power always sounds better

so go option b

for a 12W7 minimum would be 1000watts rms i found a single 1000/1v1 on my 13W7 very gutless i didnt like the results at all, just not enough power compared to the RF T20001bd amp i had on it before.
