What is the different between IDMAX v.2 and IDMAX v3 in terms of sound quality wise? The v3 seems to have a lil upgrade with a lower Fs than the v2.

Has anyone ever compares IDMAX with PG Titanium Elite 12D? I'm looking for a sub to replace my IDMAX. Was thinking Adire Brahma but it is not available in my country. Even IDMAX, i have to private import it from Singapore. Anyway, can anyone write a review for PG Titanium Elite 12D Subwoofer? And how is PG compares to IDMAX?

The PG website doesn't give much information for their products. I have tried the download section for the user manual but seems to be a broken link. So anyone (specially PG distributor) can provide me some information regarding it?

There are a number of outlets for them in Australia.

Perhaps PM: Cyberpunky or Hutch for a list of dealers or a local contact where you are...

I haven't heard the PG so conat comment on it's performance but i love my IDMAX.

E320Titanium owns a PG, you can ask him about it...

If you like the MAX12 and want a bit more of an SQ bias, go MAX10. Bit less output, bit more SQ.

Yes i will agree the Phoenix Gold Ti Elite 12d is not a cheap sub. :o

To me a sub should be the reinforcement of the whole sound, not something thats poundind your head off.

The Elite 12d is a sub that just does its job with impecable manners. Mine is in a 56 litre sealed box for optimum sound quality. It is powered off a Phoenix Gold Ti 1200.1 mono block producing up to 1500 watts into 2 ohms.

It will deliver the low notes cleanly with no hesitation. Its stong and powerful and can be light just as the recording requires.

It is not a one note bass hitter nor is it clumsy or floppy.

Am i happy with mine? OH YE. Would i buy it again? Without hesitation. Would i reccomend it? If you can afford it YES. :) and it looks pretty cool too.

I will also add i have heard the ID max V3 and would i buy it? Yep.

Omg you've convinced me :D Now I just have to steal another grand....

What are the Xenon's like compared to the ID's (MAX and Q). You would kinda hope that the Ti is better than the IDMAX considering the price.

Henry,

I don't know if you looked here, but here is the link for the owners manual to the sub your asking for... PG Titanium Elite 12D

See if that helps your query...

Very nice sub IMO :)

thanks bro...

here is a few question...
I'm using this split called Fabulous Acoustic by skanning... it is a wonderful pair of split... the tweeter using ribbon instead... i think it can't be compared with any splits in the market... dynaudio, scanspeak, focal, morel, vifa, seas, you name it... it is absolutely awesome... with this split, you don't really need subwoofer...

The problem that i'm facing right now is choosing the subwoofer that can keep up with the splits performance... i tried Phase Linear aliante... with Fs 19Hz... it just can't keep up with the front split... it can't blend well...

Currently, here is my option
1. Adire Brahma 12"
2. IDMAX 12" D4v3
3. PG Titanium Elite 12D
4. Eclipse Titanium 12"
5. Boston G512
6. Treo Engineering CSX 12"

Can anyone helps me with this? What do I need to know before in choosing the right subwoofer?
