In my quest for a 12" sub I have come across this one which seems pretty good, only thing that concernes me is the very low RMS power handling (only 200W?), the sensitivity isnt anything special either, only 86db.

I am going to be feeding it with 380WRMS from a 4x130 Jaycar amp, so will i kill the sub?

How do these perform? best for SQ or SPL?

Hello

i have 2 x P212S8 in my car, wired to run at 4ohm of a 2 channel rockford p5002. The amp is doin 595 rms in total, so each some is getting close to 300rms. I would ask you to come down to the shop and have a listen but your in SA. But i can tell you 380rms is a tiny bit to much, So you will not be able to use the full 380rms into the sub as i am confident it will not handle it, and rockford will not cover any warrenty for burnt coils. Rockford subs are more of a SPL sub, well i seem to think so any way. Maby an eclipse sub might be the way to go, as they have one which is 400rms DVC sub, pretty shure u can get it in dual 2, to run at 4 ohm. It is a little bit more than a RF P2 12, but you may get a better result.
