MEA [WA] has the ability to run a total of 6 sanctioned dB Drag Racing events under our MEA agreement with dB Drag Racing Australia if they wish to, but that is up to the WA committee to discuss and decide.

Autosalon is the only db drag event in the past that has recorded db drag scores.

Yes, we are able to run 6 sanctioned comps per year, and i think we had one previously, we put the 2 formats of competition to the host (shop) as to which one they would like to run (ie, MEASPL or dBDrag) and the MEASPL format just seemed to work better here in WA.

But i'm sure all in up for discussion in the committee.

don't quote me on this but you can run a sanctioned meet using different classes but if a car meets the required db drag racing specs for a particular class then their scores can be recorded.might be worth looking into for you guys over there.

You also don't have to run ALL the dB Drag classes, which is what we have been doing over here in the eastern states.

yeh, in VIC we only run a few classes that we think 'most' entrants will fit into. keeps it easy, and fun!

Hi Marc,

Just wondering if you can email this and any other details to the MEAWA Committee to aide in organising a shcedule for events.

Being unaware of details like this makes a big difference to the level of service that can be offered to members of MEAWA.

No pics of the build and the install has been removed so that an upgrade can take place :)

mega is an audio nut, his HT system has about 9kw behind it if I'm not mistaken :)
