yes its possible to put them on older commodores, although like you said in some cases the centre hub needs to be machined out and theres a large chance they wont fit under the front strut towers... my vy senator signature 245/35 r19s fit straight onto a vs but a set of ve sv6 245/45 r18s wouldnt fit under the towers.. just remember its something to think about..
