Hey gang, its now time to finally get some power running through my Dyn 3-ways. I had my heart and wallet set on the Zed Leviathan, but for reasons which, I will not not go into on the public forums, this appears it won't happen. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So now, I am left to find other solutions, I am looking at at least 150rms x6 . But, my only restriction it *must* fit under the seat of my Forester, this the max sizing I can get under the seats 198mm x 438mm x 60mm

I was looking at 2x Alpine PDX 4.150's, but I am finding some users have complained of a high floor noise level.

Also looked at the JL HD series, but these are proving not easy to come by at present

The Audison LRx 6.9 will not fit my location of choice and isn't really powerful enough.

Yes, I realise SQ systems don't need play loud. But, I like to feel my music, and given loud much other noise the cabin is engulfed by, I need plenty of clean power to overcome this.

Thoughts?

How about a couple of Arc Minis? KS-125.4. Would you hear the difference between 125wrms and 150wrms? More than likely not. :)

Have you tried just contacting Steve at Zed directly he's always happy to help and normally responds within the hour or 24hours depending on time differences etc... On another note sounds like he has nailed down the turn on pop fault some users experienced, seems one of his semiconductor suppliers, supplied him with a run of IC driver chips that had a high fault rate, they just supplied him with 2500 more ($7000 USD+ worth) at no cost, so the manufacturer has admitted fault.

Have you seen the new PDX range? Much better S/N specs (20db higher) and a complete redesign apparently and the internal pics look considerably different which backs this up. So looks like they may have fixed all the shortcomings the original series apparently suffered from. http://www.diymobile...-1-dragged-.pdf

^^^ I was going to suggest the new PDX amps too. Specs on Alpine-US: http://www.alpine-us...ory/amplifiers/

No longer a 2-channel model. Only 2x 4-channel and 2x monoblocks, each of different power outputs. Will hopefully be available locally within a couple months, I'd expect (if not sooner).

Phil, strange. I have emailed you 3 times now to confirm banking details. Twice from my personal account and once from my work account. I have tried to PM you, however your PM's appear to be locked out?

I am still keen.

Can you please email me back with details.

I've opted for the Leviathan (2) and they're on order. On paper they appear very efficient, kind to the electrical system and high power in a smallish footprint, What more do ya need???!!!
