just wondering if there is a plug under the dash of the FG falcons to use for phone kit installs? if so, is it in the same location as the BA BF series, or has it changed?

regards.

not sure myself - yet to fit one but if all else fails, find the factory bluetooth module and all the wires will be at that...

location of BT module?? if its not integrated into factory deck... behind glovebox/ centre console? possibly anywhere behind dash really....

The handsfree plug is on the passenger side of the centre console

From memory the colours are as follows:
Light Green - Mute
Yellow - 12v+
Black/Yellow - Acc (there are 2 black/yellow wires)
Black - Ground
Pink - Speaker Input +
Light Blue - Speaker Input -

There will be two wires left White/Black and Black/Yellow.
Not sure what these are for possibly steering wheel controls for the factory kit

Mate,
Just wanted to say thanks for this. Just got the FG and trawled for ages to find where the connector was.
Could not have done this without these instructions!
So Thanks
Much appreciated

I Just pulled my BT and Ipod Connector Box out of my FG.
The module box was located in the centre console with the cables running through the centre console up into the deck.

Does anyone know if there is a 12v ignition switched positive wire in the looms seen in the picture above ?

I have tapped into one of the yellow wires whitch is constant 12 v for a device I have installed, but would ideally like to find a power source which is not live when the key is off. (So the device goes off when then key is removed)

I have an auto transmission and couldnt find a way do get to the cigarette lighter power wire easily.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
