I faired pretty well from the rear ender. I was in full gear so my only injuries was bruising, mostly from getting thrown forward and copping the RHS bar end in the guts. I got checked out by the doctor and was basically told to take it easy for a while.
CBF got knocked about a bit. About $1,500 bucks worth. It's still ridable. I had to change the broken front brake handle but apart from that, it's all cosmetic. Bar ends, mirror, peg, mudguard, instrument housing, can, etc.
Upgrade? I was on my way to the riding school for my R class test when I got hit. (which I passed). Already test ridden the Honda CB400 & kawa ninja 650P.
As for the replacement for the sigma, well I am taking a severe downgrade there. I'm inheriting the wifes 1996 Mazda 323 auto sedan. 1.6 litres of unbridled grunt.
The car already has a reasonable system in it, Basically a lot of my spared bits n pieces. I've already swapped the head unit and amp for the DVA-9861 & MRV-F405, but Im still far from happy with the front stage. Might just go for some nice and easy co ax's, or muck around with a basic split system. Not sure yet.
The wife is getting a new car, likely to be a Corolla sedan. Beauty of that is it has a double din head unit and 6x9 in the rear parcel shelf and a single 12 inch in a cubic foot box should be a breeze.
I guess one good thing about the sigma's demise is that Ill probably be more active around here for a while. You never know, I may actually need to ask a technical question about car audio!
Certainly motorvation to come down and see you at least!
