Item:Sterling Rope Evolution 9.8mm, 60m (Velocity?)
Location:Springwood NSW, but can meet you in Richmond, Penrith or Sydney CBD
Item Condition:Unsused, not even uncoiled.
Reason for selling: I have too many ropes
Price:$325, or $275 without the rope bag ONO
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only

Hi Guys,
I've been wanting a climbing rope for a while.
I'm lucky enough that for my birthday/wedding i got 2.
Unfortunately neither of the ropes can be returned

I only need one, and there's a stack of other climbing gear that I need.
Whilst i'm negotiable, I won't be letting it go for a bargain, i'd rather keep it as a spare.
Or i'll sell it to a mate when he needs one (6-12months)

I was bought on Sunday 6th May, and has only been taken out of the bag for pictures.
It's a great multipurpose rope
can be used for lead climbin or top roping
It's thick enough that you get enough friction to control a descent, and that it will be durable and take big falls.
Yet thin enough that it isn't unecessarily heavy, or has excessive drag

Has a nice silky sheath, that should resist furring for a while.

Here's a link to the manufacturer's website, i believe this is the exact rope.

RRP on the rope was about $340-350, and the bag is $50-60.

QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
