All I can say, is the world is a much better place with people with Blankey in it. If more people were like that.. well, we would have a world full of slightly brown people :) *yes bro, that is cos you're black*.. and NO I don't want to see your new shoes :)

Too many pots to read when drunk... But if you're asking on the internet what to have on a sandwich, it probably should be dicks.

Noooooooo, it's epic.
Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Decent quality canned sardines in tomato sauce, ripe banana, fresh bread.
Smush it all together and eat straight away.
Also good on buttered toast.
Tastes like everything.

Do you wans a sad-wich or a MAN-wich....???
LOL *joke anyone who has seen the powerthirst vid on youtube will know

I like being creative with sandwiches, Like toasted penut butter and natella, deep fired jam sandwich, toasted vegemite and cheese, salt and vinegar chip sandwich,
or tomato and sugar, or even tomato and tomoato sauce... penut butter and cheese, or what about vegemite and honey?
then there is roast beef and vegetable sandwiches, or what about a fairy bread sandwich?

Sam likes Chocolate in a sandwitch, like a whole chocolate bar between bread...

I hope that gives you some inspiration....

While not technically a sandwich, this is bread with a filling:

Sausage roll in a hotdog roll with sauce.

Gods gift to humankind!

Cheers,

As it is always important to progress the art of sandwich making i am forever testing and re-testing sandwich making protocol. here are a few more tips that some of you may already know, but are useful to be written down anyway.

if tomato is making an appearance in your sandwich, salt and pepper (freshly cracked is best) should be applied directly on top of the tomato. this will greatly enhance the flavour of the tomato ensuring maximum sandwich enjoyment. you don't need to add a lot, just a little will go a long way.

i've also recently discovered that condiment placement is extremely important for the perfect sandwich! condiments should be the first sandwich item placed on the base peice of your sandwich. the ONLY exception to this rule is if you spread butter or margarine on your sandwiches, then of course this should be the first ingredient used with the condiment being applied directly on top of the spread. this is to ensure the full flavour of the condiment is experienced when you take a bite. condiments placed on the top piece has to make it's way through the other sandwich ingredients to reach your tastebuds and if like me, you enjoy a sandwich with an abundance of ingredients, this may become dificult.

"just add more condiment" i hear you say. and while to the novice sandwich maker this might seem like a good idea, it has the potential to end with having too much condiment on the sandwich causing it to drip or squirt out the back of the sandwich. and if you remember from one of my earlier posts, ingredients falling out of your sandwich is the last thing you want happening. i always recommend that condiments should be spread on to the sandwich, not just squeezed on from a squeezy bottle. remember, all ingredients should be laid out to the edge of the bread.

if you don't believe me about the condiment placement, next time you eat an incorrectly constructed sandwich or burger, where the condiment has been place at the top of the burger. flip the sandwich/burger upside down and take a bite. you will be amazed at the difference in flavour.
