OK guys just thought i would put some details up of a SPL comp that Autobarn Maitland will be running at the annual Singleton Street Machines Show n Shine:

Date: 27-28th of November - Sound off is on the Sunday,
Time: Registrations start at 9am, Comp at 10am sharp.
Location : Singleton Showground (will get an address)
Cost: $15 per car.

Classes:

Class A: Up to 2 x 10" or 1 x 12"

Class B: Up to 2 x 12" or 1 x 15"

Class C: Up to 2 x 15" or 3 x 12"

Open: No limit on subs, 3000wrms max.

Open Pro: No limit.

If you have more than 1500wrms you move up one class, unless you are in an "open" class to begin with.

Trophies for 1st and 2nd place in all class but the Open Pro.

Just a quick reminder to those who havent been before its not just your average show n shine either, its basically a smaller version of summernats with grass events, dyno and a few hundred show cars. Theres a few trade displays and Autobarn will have some great deals only available at the show.

Its a great day (or weekend, can even camp on site)....i will link a flyer up to this thread when i find one.

No probs......so thats one definitely coming Posted Image
Come on guys, im sure theres atleast a few interested ??

The classes are intended to separate the serious SPL guys from the amateurs.....which basically means anyone with under 1500wrms powering their sub/s has a very good chance to win a trophy.

what class would I be in with a JL13w7 ? May be running off a Tantrum 1200.1 or an Audison Lrx 5.1k which according to their manuals are both below 1500rms.

I am guessing B and dont fancy its chances against 2 12's but would like to get a reading anyway.
If it can squeeze into A as its closer to 12's than a 15 that would be awesome.

It is very well behaved around dogs and children !

Sorry for the late reply, without looking at the setup etc i would say class A Posted Image

Please do make the trip up the valley for this, it'd be great to meet new car audio "fanatics" in the area.

I'll try and get up there even if the Caprice doesn't have anything in it just to check out the other cars up there.
