[Sonic Nirvana]

Sorry this has been late in posting. I had to fly interstate on business pretty much straight after the comp was finished.

First off, a big thankyou to Richard, Orkun, Steve and all the guys at Autobarn Penrith who were wonderful hosts and provided nibblies and drinks mid-afternoon. Great stuff!

Also thanks to Marty and Ben our regular judges and welcome to Dean and Aaron to the team who got well with the programme and did a great job. Not to say anything of putting them both under the pump to judge Ben and Marty's cars in Pro Street! I was unable to judge due to a ear/nose/throat infection that made tweeters go AWOL. Much appreciated guys!

Will confirm next date/venue asap but the heads-up is for the Sunday of 11th or 18th September.

As mentioned in the reflections thread, the turn-up for Amateur Street was a disappointment but the competition standard and numbers in the Show classes has been getting even better.

We STILL have dramas getting people to the comp at anything like the time we need to. This will HAVE to change. We have been cutting slack for people in order to have meaningful competitions and to give our hosts something worthwhile for their investment of time, staff and money.
Be absolutely CERTAIN that we will be having something to say and do about this and there will have to be a line in the sand. A post prior to the next comp will be putting that in particular terms that are clear and WILL be acted upon. We "loves ya's all" but enough is enough.....
