Okay, to be brutally honest, and no offense to Daz's ego, but the guy I spoke to sounded like he really didn't care that I know Daz.
I mean, I understand that because if I got a call from someone who said "me mate Dave said to say he sent me" I don't really think it would matter. I would still give good customer service. However, the guy came across more like "well that's nice, now send me that tweeter so I can just fix it."
I honestly believe that they would act the way they did toward anyone, it sounded very much like that's just what they do.
And I also think I forgot to mention that their office is in Brisbane and all this happened right in the middle of the floods! Apparently their office wasn't flooded, but all transport into and out of the general Bris-vegas area and surrounds was affected. Not to mention that some of the people that work there probably had flood issues themselves.
