Depends if your priority is sound quality or loudness.
Double the power will give you 3dB greater output - however 300W will still drive a sub pretty damn loud if you need it it to. Personally, my first priority is always to get the cleanest and most accurate amp I can get in my price range, then the second priority is to look for power output, looks, etc.
That said everyone has different expectations and different aims, so if you like to constantly crank your sub to the point where people can hear it from outside, then you'd probably want more power. Then again, you'd probably want another sub too (like an IDMAX, etc). If this is your intention, I'd probably suggest going for something with about 500W-600W.
