Hole in Rainbow Profi Dust Cap

Hey Guys,

My 10" Rainbow Profi sub has been in storage for about 12months now. Pulled it out of the cupboard the other day, and found it now has a small hole (about 2/3mm) in size, in the dust cap. Is the silver/grey dustcap just a "false cap" for looks as such? And not affect performance, Or will this need a re-cone kit now?
