Just looking for a pair of SQ amps to run the following:
Morel Elate 6 - 2 Ways
and
Rainbow Vanadium 10" Sub
I would like the morel's to run active so in need of a 4x~100W RMS or so, and a monoblock for the sub.
Just wondering what you guys recommend.
Cheers.

............or...............
if you wanted to go the 2 amp route try an Arc Audio 4200SE teamed up with a 4000SE.

Also what you want from your system will help.. "proper" SQ, SQ but loud (SQL) or the "18 year old in his VT Conmm's idea of SQ"
Will you be entering your car in MEASQ competition with your system?

The Phoenix Gold Titanium series (older but still available second hand now and then) is what I've been using.
All of these would work very well indeed with Morel from a synergistic point of view.

thanks for your input so far.
My budget is around $800 for both amps (i might be able to push it a little more). My car is a MK6 Golf GTI, so hopefully this gives you an indication of how much space i have to work with.
Overall im looking for a solid SQ system that is still decently loud. Im not intending on entering in the MEASQ comp, but who knows?
Im fairly new to car audio, so hope you guys can give me some pointers.
Cheers.

As far as brands go, there's been some good recommendations already, look at the specs for those and see if there are ones that are similar....

They are very, very nice amps.
Edit added: WHOOPS! Just reread your original post and you'll need another channel. Perhaps you can double your budget and buy his matching 2110 too!
Cheers,

I happen to know someone who's running an Elate set up with the really compact Alpine class D amps and it actually sounds very good. He took out his class at the last competition event by quite a big margin too.
The Alpine amps are also stackable.

Very nice amps for the money.
JL Audio Slash are also worth a look in, tho not sure if they fit that budget.

Failing that, i'd jump on the Leviathan or Audison 5-channel in a heart-beat.
