Looks like a very promising mid range processor.
Now lets see if they can bring it over for a midrange price, around $500. (Aussie dollar is at USD$1.04!)

Not sure if it is a fair comparison or indication, but in the UK the retail prices:

bit-Ten £300
bit-Ten D £400
bit-One £600

So its targetted solely at OEM integration, and i'd say the BitOne is reserved for more aftermarket DSP 'add on' applications. As in, theres no RCA inputs on this one, so its more so designed for high level in/OEM integration, whereas the BitOne can be used to add DSP to an aftermarket system. (Hopefully i'm making sense!)

Are the preouts selectable like the BitOne, or fixed to Front/Rear/Sub?

Should be interesting to see where its priced, especially considering some of the 'better' LOCs are $100~150 just for high level > RCA output. If you can add all that tunability to an OEM system for under $500, its going to blow the 'stand alone' LOC market out of the water i reckon.

That works out at about $470 AUD. Not bad!

So basically, the blokes that know what they are doing, they stick to the BitOne.

Tiger, it would appear the Bit10 is aimed fairly and squarely at the OEM integration market.
(Front, Rear Hi-level input only.. no RCA Low-level input)

The Bit-One was originally intended as this too, but was found to be an excellent performance "stand-alone" processor and that is the direction it headed.

The GUI on the Bit10, looks very similar to the Bit-One, so a reasonable level of knowledge will still be needed for correct system installation and integration.

Will be interesting to see how this new product is adopted by consumers..

Cheers for clearing that up. :good:

I've never really dabbled with these items. The H700 will do what I need it to Posted Image

But yeah, I've also heard this in cars that have them set up well and they do what they are supposed to, no doubt.

Understandably there were some bugs to iron out at first (from the initial BitOnes) and it's safe to say they have "mastered the art"; hence the release of the following.

I'll be very interested to see folk intergrating this into their installs, one way or another Posted Image

Looks the goods, I am sure they've done their research and see a place in the market for such a product.
What intrigues me, is Audison head unit (I suspect a "version" of the HXD2) - Digital - Processor - Digital - Amps :)

A true digital domain system right through, finally!
