hi,
I'm very new to this web site, I was looking for some help with installing central locking system in my car and google pointed me to this site.
I'm looking at installing central locking system in my Ford Fairmont AU, it already has a locking system that came with the car but one of the door wouldnt lock so now I'm thinking of putting a new one in.
Location Toongabbie, NSW (Near Seven Hills), if you know anyone who would do this install for me please drop me a message with your details thanks.
Thanks for help in advance.

My advice would be to get a spare lock motor from a wrecker for 20 bucks or so. Fitting an entirely new central locking system when you already have one functioning 90% would be insane in terms of the time and money needed.

Thanks for the idea Big_Valven, but I have never opened the door panel before, I dont mind giving it a try but on the other hand when removing I'm not sure if I will break anything else :-)

Alright then, buy a lock motor for your falcon from a wreckers', and get an installer or service man to fit it. You will still save vast amounts of money and un-necessary effort of replacing a whole system of which only one component is faulty.
