Just as the title suggests, trying to find some techflex in Australia if possible. Its quite cheap through Parts Express from the US ($10 / 25feet) but postage is annoying. Does anyone know where you can get it in Australia?
Cheers.

I know there's a few people on here, including me, that have got it from eBay from Furry letters, a seller in US. Pretty cheap even with postage.

HTH.

Cheers,

Hey BV,

Just wondering what type and size you tend to use what what purpose? IE, do you use the "Clean Cut" stuff, or is that not necessary when heat shrinking the ends? What size do you use for your RCAs as opposed to upgrading 0ga or 4ga power runs etc?

Thanks,

Hey,
I use 1/8" for single rca wires, and 1/4" for twin. Obviously larger diameter leads would need to step up a size. Lately I've used 3/8 a bit too. The expansion of the sleeving does make it pretty versatile.

As for the larger stuff, I don't do heaps with power cables, but from memory I used 1/2" on 4ga and 0ga.

Do you guys buy the 'Clean Cut' Or the normal ?

Clean Cut link

Normal link

I'm going to order 100feet I think, of the 1/2" so I can wrap all my speaker / rca cables for the main run, and power too. Everything very neat!

I just got the 'normal cut' stuff cause the clean cut wasn't available in the colour I wanted. Cuts fine, Just have to hit it with a lighter to stop it fraying.
