Hey,

I'm just wondering if you can pay your transfer fees anywhere other than Vicroads. Last time I had to do it was in 2001 and remember getting a letter in the mail saying the value was too low... Now, I would have thought they'd pick that up at Vicroads (if I paid there, can't remember).

Anyway, can you pay anywhere else? And is it fine to print and use the transfer forms on their website rather than the carbon copy ones from Vicroads?

I've only ever done it by mail. Wack a cheque in the envelope with the transfer papers.
Must have been a low value you wrote on it.

must have been REAL low, i put down $12.50 for the corona's market value... lady at vic roads thought it was funny lol but never got any notification about it...?

then again, i haven't checked redbook on the corona, could be close enough... lol

I bought a 1998 Pulsar in 2001 for about $1000 less than market value ($13,500 rather than $14,500) and put the correct value on the form. Then a few weeks later I received a letter stating that they believe the value I put down was false and a new transfer form to fill out. I just filled it out the same and sent it back. Never heard from them again.
