I'd personally like to that everybody for their support thus far and to please continue with the support; as this is what is driving Mobile Electronics Australia to implement an improved and exciting format to car audio competitions nationwide. AND also a big thanks to the reps that attending (and competed in Bass Battle also).A highlight for the event was seeing Lunchie NEARLY loose a screen! It didn't break, but the seal popped out..... and pooped out wet Sikaflex... from 3 days prior
And hitting a 156.6dB, There was also a 150+ reading for 19Hz!! (Steve, you'll need to rectify what the score was)And I was personally happy with the Camry, scoring a 132.1dB @ 52Hz on music.. AND taking out SPL WAAAAAAAAAAAAArrior without subs! So yes, my first trophy in the game
A few more cars I'm seeing with some decent figures.I think Stacey Lindsay got a 139.9db.... yet to confirm if there was a high reading on the night. Burak got a 145+dB off two Orion 10s and 5kW in the Barina hatchback.Mr DB4FUN got a 152.1dB in his CRX, taking out the Pro SPL class.A decent fight to watching was Kiri in the TX5 and Billy in the Subaru; with Kiri winning with a 140.5dB off 2 x Clarion 12s, against Billy's 140.2dB reading, in the Novice B class.
Overall..... it was a fun night, and for a twilight event, we started the elimination rounds after ALOT of test runs, about the 6ish mark, and had the Bass Battle event packed up and in the trailer by 8:30pm
