Ok, for my first question.. I know this is a car audio forum, but theoretically, some of you would have some knowledge in auto elec stuff..
1 - My civics headlight fuse keeps blowing. I replaced it like a month ago, and then it blew last night when i was driving home. and after i replaced it then, it blew again on the drive back home (about 15-20 minutes of driving later) I'm curious as to whether there could be a grounding problem, or if it's just a short somewhere along the wires... If it helps, the fuse holder (it's an old 77 fuse holder, so the fuses are glass ones.) and fuse get really really hot after it blows. like, i touch it and it burns my finger D: any ideas?

2 - The guards on the civic need to be widened for the rims i currently have on it.. But it has some chrome strips along the edge of the arches, which look nice. I want to flare the guards or roll them.. but i don't want to lose the strip. So i'm curious - To do something with them and try to get the people to keep the chrome lip on it, or just ditch the rims, and have a look around for something that will actually fit?

Edit: Thanks for the move, wasn't sure if it was the right section :)

So i took it for a drive, after replacing the fuse again, and it didn't blow.. but i did make sure to put it in as square as possible.. so i'm interested.. might see what happens.. if it does blow again, off to the auto eleccy.
