What: Round 3 of the MEASQ ACT Series

When: 14th August 2011

Competitor Arrival & Registration: 9:00am

Competition & Judging Commences: 10:00am

MEASQ Classes (Entry Fee $35.00*)
Novice ($20.00 Entry Fee)
Intermediate Class
Advanced Class
Expert Class
Show Class

dB Drag Racing Classes (Entry Fee $35.00*)
Street Stock A
Street Stock B
Street A
Street B
Street Max

*a combined and discounted entry fee will apply when entering both MEASQ & dB Drag Racing.

This season we are trialling a Bring a Buddy program.
For any existing competitors, if you bring along a new competitor, you will receive free entry to each class they enter. If your buddy enters SQ you will get free entry to SQ, if they enter SQ and SPL you will receive free entry to SQ and SPL.

I like your timing! It seems a true MEASQ competitor never has a finished car two weeks before the comp :P I still have no door trims, though should be much better prepared for this comp compared to the last.

I might be there- as far as I know I have that weekend off, and I have two cars to choose from. I won't be competing though, as neither of those cars has a system in it!

No promises yet, but I'll try to make it.

I'd say it sounds pretty damn good, but yes I'll leave that for you to decide.

I intend to come up and enter this event at BDL givin i have just finished my sound system install.

Its the first time ive been in a event like this and i am completely unsure what to enter into.

I would assume novice because its my first go and cars outing etc.

Ask any necisary questions to help narrow this down.



Some information that may help is

Car: 1991 2+0 300zx

front: ZXi6.5C (hifonics)

rear: ZXi6.5C (hifonics)

subs: 2X SWX-1043D (alpine type X's)

assuming of course there are no vehicle or equipment modifications, then yes you will most likely belong in novice class

as a start have a look at the safety points, they are easy points to be made, and just as easy to lose. i would begin with protecting all of your power terminals also adding a fire extinguisher is a quick and easy point to be had :)

Looks like I'm out this time round. Got a friend who just got back from Europe, so having a catch up night.

Not 100% yet though, as I'm not sure if it will be Sat or Sun.

Not holding my breath though.
