Hi there. I know this isn't a usual type of event most people on the site would endeavour on due to extreme weights in the boot, but can be a fun opportunity to go for a cruise for a good cause.

This is being part organised by one of the members on ozfoz.com and asked if I could repost this to get more participants.

Cars4Kids
Cars4Kids is a charity poker run, raising money for the Brisbane Royal Children’s Hospital. Entrants will drive a set route through the Gold Coast hinterland, collecting cards along the way. The entrant with the best hand of poker at the end of the drive is the winner. The entry fee is $10, with the first 30 entrants to receive a Cars4Kids sticker. After the drive we will hand out prizes to the winners and sell sausages and drinks with the proceeds also going to the charity.

You can pre enter by contacting Charlie on 0400 45 33 28. This is a chance to go for a drive, raise some money for a great cause and win some fantastic prizes.

Meeting/finishing location: Queensland Tint Company 4/13 Expansion Street Molendinar

Prizes:
1st: Power Dyno Run donated by Chiptorque Performance

2nd: Free Window Tint to the value of $300.00 donated by Queensland Tint Company
3rd: $100.00 Car Care Product Voucher donated by Halo Supply Solutions
Top Ranked Subaru: Subaru Service Package valued at $120.00 donated by Chiptorque Performance.
Lucky Entrant Prize: $200 vacuum cleaner voucher donated by Halo Supply Solutions.

Itinerary
9.00am: Entry
10.00: Poker Run (Gold Coast hinterland- route to be advised on the day)
Approx 12.00 noon: Meet back at Queensland Tint Company for prizes and sausage sizzle.

I think it's more individual in terms of receiving cards for the competition, but would be fine to cruise together, swapping cards would be frowned upon though.
The cards will be handed out by someone at the 5 marked check points.
Shoot charlie a message on his mobile if you need any more info.

There are about 25 cars already confirmed for this event, it would be wonderful if we could get some more. It's going to be a great day :D

why is first prize worse than second?

unless it's a dyno TUNE?

It's just a dyno run, and being organised for the worst case scenario, ie. AWD for the dyno, costs the company more.

Bumping as it's this sunday, over 30 cars anticipated, should be a great day.
