Bought the supercheap charger, though it only desulphates for 3hrs at a time. Still topped up my big PC2150 Odyssey well enough, can't beat $99

Tell her you are going to make a wind turbine with belts, pullies, an old alternator and you'll need her assistance to put it up, she'll let you spend more.

A 10W solar panel on the dash goes alright if you leave it outside.
