Hi guys,

I am having a problem in installing my car alarm system its a MAP80,

Question is the alarm has "DISARM#2 connect to door(s) unlock signal wire (-) or disarm defeat" and where is exactly unlock signal wire? also how do i test the wire?

ARM = lock motor wire
DISARM = unlock motor wire
DISARM#2 = ?
DOOR TRIGGER = dome light or door switch

Correct me if Im wrong

cheers

please note. I dont know the system in any way. Arm and disarm output are sometimes used for factory alarms etc. check your manual for any reference to central locking. if the wires you listed are locking related, dis arm 2 would be for 2 stage unlocking. Which is mostly not needed. What car is it too.

Once again install will make or break a product. think again about getting a pro to fit it.

My 2 cents worth.
