Found the site via Google, and I have already found someone on here I know from StreetWagons forums :D
A little about myself, my name is Nick, I'm 17, I live in South West Victoria and I want to be a mechanic.
I've got a '97 VSII Commodore wagon, no decent sound system as of yet, but here are the specs of what I've got so far:
Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-136.
Front Speakers: Probably stock with stock tweeters.
Rear Speakers: Pioneer TS-G1643R.
With just that and the tune I've got running, I can get rattle already without a sub :shok:

Here are my plans for my future system when I have the money, budget will be around $4,000 max (enclosures included)
Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-6350SD
Front Speakers:
6.5" splits in doors and tweeters, wondering what I should get (this is where you step in!) ^_^
Rear Speakers:
6.5" coax or splits in the back, in custom enclosures.
Subwoofers: Two or three Earthquake DB-12 Subwoofers, trying to find and amp to power them (2Ohm for two and 1Ohm for three in parallel), custom ported box in the back for them.
Amp for subwoofers:
No idea, Earthquake amps are too powerful :unknw:
Amp for speakers: A 4 channel amp for sure, once again you could help me on this ^_^
Wiring system: 0 gauge from battery, split into two 2 gauge or more 0 gauge to both amps, all speakers and subwoofers will be wired with 10 gauge speaker cable.
Battery: Probably an Optima Yellow Top in the engine bay, unless I go to the effort of putting it in the back hidden somewhere.

Thanks Juan, this is gonna take years for this project, but well worth it in the end :yahoo:
Two reasons why I am choosing Earthquake subs: 1st is that I can get them quite cheap, 2nd is that I've heard three of these in a mates car, we could hear him from nearly 2 blocks away!
